Terms and Conditions
Membership to the 50plus Matters™ panel is voluntary and participation in the panel and all associated surveys is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in these Terms and Conditions. Please review this membership agreement thoroughly to ensure you understand and comply with all terms and conditions of your membership. 50plus Matters™ reserves the right to add, remove, or modify these Terms and Conditions in part or in whole, at any time and at our sole discretion. Continued use of this website after changes or modifications to the Terms and Conditions constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined below.
If you do not agree to the membership terms and conditions or any proceeding modifications, or are otherwise dissatisfied with the services provided, you may, at any time, terminate your membership in the 50plus Matters™ panel.
By participating in the 50plus Matters™ panel, you are stating that you agree to the following terms:
Eligibility
Membership to the 50plus Matters™ panel is free and open to individuals at least 50 years of age or older. Membership at this time is limited to residents of Canada, excluding Quebec.
Honesty and Integrity
In order to provide our clients with quality results, it is important that the integrity of the data is upheld. Therefore, the honesty of our panel members is very important. As a member of the 50plus Matters™ panel, you agree to provide honest and accurate data during the registration process as well as all associated surveys. If you provide inaccurate or false information, 50plus Matters™ reserves the right to terminate your membership and all rewards that have not been redeemed will be forfeited.
50plus Matters™ reserves the right to decline payment of the honoraria associated with a survey if, at its sole discretion, the Company determines that the responses to the survey indicate that you have failed to provide honest and considered responses to survey questions, thus invalidating your answers.
Zero Tolerance for Fraudulent Activity
Members agree not to abuse the benefits and privileges as 50plus Matters™ panel members. Such abuses include, but are not limited to, attempts to create multiple accounts, attempts to earn referral credit through the use of fake accounts, attempts at participation in surveys by tampering with surveys or links.
Number of Memberships
Membership to the 50plus Matters™ panel is limited to one person with a unique email address per ISP (Internet Service Provider) one household member per address. Various verification methods are used to ensure that members do not register more than one time or that more than one person per household registers for the 50plus Matters™ panel. If we find any fraudulent activity of a panel member, the membership(s) will be terminated and all rewards that have not been redeemed will be forfeited.
Non-Transferability
Members may not register, take surveys, or otherwise perform panel functions on behalf of other individuals. Incentives are awarded to individuals and are non-transferable.
Failure to Comply
Failure to comply with all membership rules or any activity that has been detected and found to be fraudulent or abusive may result in the forfeiture of all earned credit as well as the termination of membership to the 50plus Matters™ panel. 50plus Matters™ reserves the right to determine such cases, and any decision made by 50plus Matters™ is final.
